Peter Garza is Senior Vice President of First Advantage Litigation Consulting, specialists in litigation support services, including computer forensics, electronic data discovery, data recovery services, expert consulting, and fact-finding for litigants.  Peter came to First Advantage through its acquisition of EvidentData in 2006.  Peter was the founder and President of EvidentData and has worked as both a consulting and testifying expert in hundreds of civil cases, including lawsuits against Arthur Andersen and the Board of Directors of Enron, a successful $45 million lawsuit by sports agent Leigh Steinberg, and a number of other prominent and high-stakes cases.  He designed effective forensic processes that are now used in the First Advantage computer forensics laboratory in Rancho Cucamonga, California.  Peter's team has been highly effective in recovering digital evidence in investigations and in large electronic discovery assignments. Through Peter’s expertise and leadership, his team has developed a proven approach to controlling costs and finding answers.

Earlier in his career, Peter served as a Special Agent with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (“NCIS”) conducting and supervising investigations for over ten years.  He recovered and analyzed a wide array of computer evidence, including electronic business records used to expose defense procurement fraud as well as remnant data used in successful criminal and counterintelligence investigations. 

Peter earned a Master of Science in Information Systems from Claremont Graduate University.  He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from National University.  He has taught a graduate course in Computer Forensics at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
