Problem: Three key members of an international consumer-products company’s sales team in Mexico departed for a competitor under suspicious circumstances.  Corporate investigators suspected the individuals of having orchestrated the theft of a significant volume of intellectual property.

Solution: EvidentData performed forensic analysis of the employees’ computers, finding suspicious activity including their shared use of a webmail account to communicate with the competitor.  References to critical intellectual property were also found residing on removable storage devices which were not issued by the company.  An EvidentData examiner traveled to Mexico to assist in preparing the criminal case against the suspects, which resulted in the execution of a search warrant and seizure of critical evidence.
